Learn about our Founder
Our Founder:
Spectrum Family Support was created from both professional and personal experience and from a deep belief that families should never have to navigate complex systems alone.
The founder, Nicole Gagnier is an Ontario certified special education teacher. She brings over 20 years of experience in education supporting children and youth with diverse learning needs. She has supported specialized autism programming, working closely with students, families, and educators to build individualized pathways that support academic growth, social development, and independence.
Her understanding of this work is also deeply personal. She is a stepmom to two young boys who lost their mother suddenly. In an instant her family’s world changed. Alongside supporting their grief and helping them adjust, she found her family trying to navigate systems while carrying overwhelming emotion and uncertainty. She learned how difficult it can be for families to access the right support at the right time.
The heart of her work is simple, families deserve clarity, compassion and someone in their corner.
